Auditing What Leaves the Laptop During a Normal Session

A security-conscious engineer asks you to document, for an internal review, exactly what data leaves their laptop during an entirely ordinary Claude Code session on a Team-plan account with no special configuration — no ZDR, no telemetry opt-outs, and they never run /feedback.

  1. List what leaves the machine unconditionally, just from using the tool normally, and explain why it's unavoidable.
  2. List what leaves the machine only under specific, opt-in conditions, and name the condition for each.
  3. The engineer asks: "If I never run /feedback, is my code ever used to train Anthropic's models?" Answer precisely, distinguishing what's true for this Team-plan account from what would be true on a personal Pro or Max account.
